Vacation!

This week, I got to go to Lake Palestine with my friend Britt!! Love her to death, and we both share our love of over eating. Her family is hilarious and it's awesome getting to know everybody better. We've laughed a lot, ate a lot, and  slept a lot. All Britt wants to do is sleep. :P Tomorrow we're actually going on the lake. I'm excited! I don't think I've been on an actual boat before... It should be fun! So I'm gonna enjoy my limited wifi time! Have a good week everyone! :) 

Catching Up

Well, it has certainly been a long time since I've been on here! I can never bring myself to journal (pen and paper? No thanks) and since I'm on the computer a lot, I'd figure I would try to get into a better habit of blogging. More for myself than for others, because honestly, who's gonna read this? Anyway, I'm now 17 years old, a senior in high school and I cannot wait until I get out of this Texas heck-hole for college. Speaking of college, Music Education is my current major with a minor in I don't know what. Maybe french? I hope to attend the University of Wyoming, my mom's alum, but I have to apply to BYU, as per my dad's alum and typical Mormon-ness. I just got back from the University of North Texas for my fourth and final year at All-State choir camp. I absolutely love going and this year I had the chance to meet Dr. David Childs, the amazing New Zealand born conductor/composer/person ever. Seriously. I was fangirling hard core. Last year I had the awesome life changing opportunity to make it into the Texas All-State Women's choir. Words cannot express how grateful I was just to make it in, let alone the memories I made there. It was incredible. I am still my wards chorister at church, and the Laurel class president. Not a big fan of my ward but you get what you get right? My school year ended with a boyfriend and a sad goodbye to all my graduating choir family, then the whole boyfriend thing lasted a month and 6 days. I don't know how I'm ever going to figure out picking a guy that'll last long enough to marry... We're still friends and it was good for both of us. Tomorrow, my dad, my sister and I will head off in the wee hours of the morning to travel to Utah for our second year of EFY at BYU-Provo. We'll also get to attend a special Pioneer Day celebration on Saturday at the Conference Center. I've been looking forward to this all summer, and I can't wait to get on the road! Let's just say, my dad is in for a treat, traveling with Sarah and I.  Pizza Hut is still the Hut, glad I have two weeks off for this trip! Let's see how this summer goes!

Life is crazy!

Heyy!! So it's been forever since I've been on! Updates: No braces!! Working now... Pizza hut woohoo! junior at McKinney Boyd, two AP classes, 2 choir classes!! So happy to finally be in jazz choir!! Molly my puppy turns one tomorrow!! Awwww! College is starting to creep up and I'm a little scared!! All my friends started college this week so it's sad to be without them but they will have tons of fun I hope! Life is sooo crazy lately but I'm hoping it'll get better :) Yes that's my hawt uniform and my dog eating ice cream :)

A new Challenge!!! So excited! I loved the last one and I'm looking forward to having roughly the same prompts with new outfits!! EEEKKK! *Whisper* I just love clothes sooo much! :)

Ignore the nastiness that is unfortunately me. Anyway..This blazer and I, oh my gosh. Love at first sight. I tried it on, Perfect fit! And that never happens. I had tried on about 40 different blazers and this one was just perfect. Layering the Jacket and shirt, and socks and jeans :) Love it <3

It took forever to find a shirt to match this skirt. The shoes were the first thing I found to match! Surprised me because I can never find shoes that match first thing especially this shade of nude/pinkish.

So I haven't posted in a while due to the fact that school is in full swing and totally killing me and I don't have the desire to blog anymore. But I'm bored so here I am!

I have been working on our school musical a little show called "The Pantom of the Opera." Maybe you've heard of it? :) If not, go buy tickets to the musical (Broadway) immeadiately or go watch the movie. It's an amazing musical and I can't wait to put it on. I didn't get Christine (the main character) like I hoped but my best friend did so I'm gonna support her.

I'll be back with more soon.. I'm getting bored again. Sorry :) I have the attention span of a bug. See ya later! :)

Day 21: Killer Outfit and last day!

I don't want it to be over!! Now I feel like I have nothing to dress for... :( Anyway, I commemorated the last day by posting 2 stupid pics of me and 1 good one. :) The wind was crazy, then it calmed, then day 21! I put several things that I learned about together. I feel like this outfit is definitely me with all the different ways you can look at it, and how conventional it is. Thanks Kayla for doing this challenge! I learned tons, and it was really fun! I loved doing for Personal Progress and I can't wait for the next challenge! :D
